Remote Telecommunicator Opportunity at Cityblock Health, Inc.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Telecommunicator to join our team at Cityblock Health, Inc. As a Telecommunicator, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of our members, providing exceptional customer service, and coordinating care to ensure the best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Assess the reason for caller's inbound communication and manage their emotional state
Gather and transcribe key information necessary for care coordination and guide callers through intake and triage processes
Identify risks of imminent life threats, self-harm, or harm to others and direct questioning and notifications as needed
Complete assessment tools and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality and privacy of member information
Work effectively in a remote environment, requiring independence and self-governance
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent education, plus completion of a medical assisting program, Emergency Medical Technician course, or Public Safety Telecommunicator academy
Preferred: Associate's Degree or higher
At least 2 years of experience as a Lead Advanced Life Support provider, Emergency Medical Technician, medical assistant, or medical secretary
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including comprehension of medical terminology and common prescription medications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail
