Remote Technical Program Director - Amazon Advertising
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Director to join our Amazon Advertising team. As a Technical Program Director, you will play a key role in driving the technical strategy and direction of our advertising business, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services that drive discovery and sales for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute technical plans to meet business requirements, working closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
Drive cross-functional coordination and prioritization to translate business and product requirements into technical plans and designs
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business partners, and engineering teams to drive alignment and execution on our technical roadmap
Lead the development of new, large-scale, low-latency, and high-performing systems that integrate with core external systems and services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers, engineers, scientists, and customer research to develop innovative products and services

Requirements:
5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams, with a strong technical background
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release plans
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and planning release plans
