Key Responsibilities
As the Teaching Site Coordinator, you will be pivotal in orchestrating and executing a dynamic four-day-a-week program centered on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). This part-time position encompasses both coordination and teaching duties, enabling you to nurture a supportive and stimulating learning atmosphere for our students.
Collaborate closely with program directors and school personnel to facilitate the enrollment and registration processes for students.
Oversee the daily implementation of the in-person STEAM curriculum and enrichment activities with guidance from site directors.
Act as the primary liaison for parents, volunteers, and school staff regarding student enrollment, schedules, and progress, while promoting family engagement initiatives.
Ensure a safe and structured learning environment conducive to emotional well-being.
Foster positive relationships with students, modeling healthy lifestyle choices and supporting them through behavioral challenges.
Employ effective strategies to maintain consistent student attendance and fulfill enrollment targets.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, program activities, and other pertinent data as required by the program director.
Collaborate with program directors to design enrichment activities, schedules, and curriculum content.
Lead a small team of teachers, teaching assistants, and volunteers, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Facilitate weekly team meetings to discuss program needs, reflect on practices, and identify areas for improvement.
Respond promptly to inquiries from students, families, and team members via phone and email throughout the program.
Assist in organizing family and community events, presentations, and guest activities.
Uphold professionalism at all times, adhering to program expectations and online safety protocols.
Required Skills

Proficient in various technologies, including Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive Suite, Zoom, and other relevant platforms.
