Tax Manager - Real Estate Focused

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager specializing in real estate to join our team. This position will play a key role in managing our clients' tax compliance and planning needs, ensuring adherence to regulations while providing strategic insights to maximize tax benefits.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for real estate clients
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services related to real estate transactions
• Review and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Conduct research on tax issues and provide guidance on tax implications of real estate investments
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency
• Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Stay updated on tax law changes and real estate market trends to provide informed advice to clients
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, with a focus on real estate
• Proficiency in Ultratax software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in public accounting is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
• Bonus: $100 per tax return package reviewed and signed
• Accountable Plan: $9,100 Value
• PTO: 29 Days Total (15 PTO, 10 Firm Shutdown Days, 4 Holidays)
