[Remote] Tax Manager – C-Corp Compliance & ASC 740 (Remote, US)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Neos Talent is a national advisory firm seeking experienced Tax Consultants and Managers with strong C-Corporation compliance and ASC 740 provision backgrounds. This fully remote role involves preparing and reviewing tax provisions, leading compliance efforts, and collaborating with clients while mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities • Prepare and review quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations. • Lead and support federal and state C-Corp tax compliance (stand-alone and consolidated returns – 1120/1120-C). • Develop and review detailed tax provision and return workpapers. • Support tax planning initiatives and participate in special projects across multiple clients. • Collaborate directly with client tax leadership and internal engagement teams. • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development. • Conduct technical tax research and draft clear, concise memoranda. Skills • 5+ years of corporate tax experience (public accounting or consulting strongly preferred). • Deep knowledge of ASC 740, corporate tax rules, and general accounting principles. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment. • Proficiency with Excel; experience with GoSystems, OneSource, or CorpTax is beneficial. • CPA preferred; MST a plus.
