Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. The role involves assisting customers with tax preparation, providing advice, and utilizing communication tools to enhance customer experience. Responsibilities • In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using company products • By providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, you will be working toward advancing our goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." • You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language • This is a virtual, customer-facing role, so you will use our state of the art video communication software to interact with customers, and you will document interactions to maintain accurate records Skills • Must be an EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney • Active PTIN • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software • Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws • Passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation • Committed to enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes • Excellent customer service skills • Excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner • Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Security criteria • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days Benefits • Discretionary bonuses Company Overview • Vaco is the Talent Solutions division of Highspring, a leading global professional services organization.
