[Remote] TA-OO31 Manual and Automations Tester, Business Support LCAT 17

They are seeking a Manual and Automation Tester to support business-critical applications through high-quality testing, automation, and Agile delivery practices, while also providing Scrum Master support.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Execute manual and automated testing for enterprise systems and applications
ā¢ Validate test conditions using backend systems, including SQL queries , API/service responses, and UI verification
ā¢ Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and similar platforms
ā¢ Build, maintain, and execute test automation frameworks and scripts (UFT and related tools)
ā¢ Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and release documentation
ā¢ Develop clear, detailed defect reports and collaborate with development teams for resolution
ā¢ Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
ā¢ Assist with release management and documentation
ā¢ Collaborate with business users on data validation, UI updates, and system verification
ā¢ Participate in DevOps and Agile workflows to improve testing efficiency and delivery speed
ā¢ Troubleshoot system issues and support ad hoc testing needs
ā¢ Demonstrate system functionality and user stories to stakeholders and customers
Skills
ā¢ 2+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing
ā¢ Experience with test automation frameworks (UFT preferred)
ā¢ Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
ā¢ Experience with SQL/PLSQL and database validation
ā¢ Knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and system life cycles
ā¢ Experience with HP ALM, VersionOne, or similar test/work management tools
ā¢ Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile Scrum, and CI/CD practices
ā¢ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ā¢ Ability to collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Solution Architects, and Managers
ā¢ Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
ā¢ Ability to work independently in a remote environment
ā¢ Minimum 2 years in technology/software development
ā¢ Minimum 2 years in manual and automated testing
ā¢ Familiarity with tools such as Playwright, JMeter, AML is a plus
ā¢ Experience with secure coding and testing practices is an advantage
ā¢ Comfortable supporting Scrum Master responsibilities when needed
