About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Engineer to join our team. As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft technologies. You will design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns, and perform systems management and integration functions. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft technologies, including Azure Services, SQL Server, and Windows Operating Systems. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns, leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Perform systems management and integration functions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to eliminate technical barriers, provide proactive advice, contribute to product quality and enhancements, and create self-help assets. Assist with modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between systems to improve reliability and supportability and reduce time to solve technical issues. Responsible for incident metrics such as Customer Satisfaction, quality of support experience, frontline engineer technical readiness, and process compliance. Work in a remote environment, with the flexibility to telecommute 50% or more per week within the same area as the assigned Microsoft office location. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, IT, Physics, or a related field. 6 months of experience in any computer-related occupation. Education or experience in: PostgreSQL or MySQL or MariaDB. SQL and/or T-SQL. SQL Server and other Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). Networking or Azure Networking. Azure Database. Windows or other Operating Systems. Azure Services. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Azure Services, SQL Server, and Windows Operating Systems. Experience with cloud-based solutions, including Azure and AWS. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We're offering a competitive salary, with a base pay range of $89,900 to $119,900 per year, depending on your location and experience.
