As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist ā Level 2, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring commodities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and collaborating with different teams to achieve objectives.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Source and procure various commodities throughout multiple programs ā Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
ā¢ Ensure compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
ā¢ Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices
ā¢ Interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
ā¢ Plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement, Operations ā OR ā Master's degree; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
ā¢ Experience with SAP ERP system
ā¢ Experience in MS Office suite
ā¢ Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
ā¢ Experience with FAR/DFAR
ā¢ Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
ā¢ Written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized, as well as being an Excel power user
