We are seeking enthusiastic college students currently pursuing their Education Degrees to join our team as Remote Tutors for K-12 students across various subjects. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain practical teaching experience while developing essential skills for your future classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Provide individualized tutoring in a range of subjects including reading, English, math, test preparation, writing, and study skills.
Ā Motivate and guide students through established curriculum-based programs to enhance their learning experience.
Ā Regularly assess and document student progress, providing feedback to the educational team.
Ā Foster a fun and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Ā Build strong connections with students by recognizing and celebrating their successes.
Required Skills
Ā Ability to establish rapport with students and motivate them during instruction.
Ā Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and document progress.
Ā Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive teaching attitude.
Qualifications
Ā Reading/English Tutors must be currently pursuing an Education/Teaching Degree.
Ā Math Tutors should demonstrate proficiency through Algebra 2 (Education Degree not required).
Ā Test Prep (ACT/SAT) Tutors should possess a strong ACT/SAT score (preferably 30/1400 or higher).
Ā Preferred: At least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
