[Remote] Subrogation Analyst - Liability Recovery Unit (LRU)

The Subrogation Analyst in the Liability Recovery Unit investigates health insurance data to identify recoverable claims and engages in negotiations with various stakeholders to maximize financial recoveries for the company. Responsibilities Investigates and determines whether medical insurance claims are recoverable or non-recoverable from a liable third party Communicates and negotiates with healthcare plan members, insurance adjusters, and attorneys Utilizes computer systems to accurately document collected information Applies organizational, analytical, and time management skills to manage daily workflow Reviews and understands healthcare contracts Creates medical expense spreadsheets and processes payments from recoveries Skills Excellent customer service skills Proficient with multi-tasking and time management Very strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent skills and experience Professional experience in insurance, legal, mortgage lending, customer service, or related field is preferred Benefits PTO, Paid Holidays, and Volunteer Days Eligibility for health, vision and dental coverage, 401(k) plan participation with company match, and flexible spending accounts Tuition Reimbursement Eligibility for company-paid benefits including life insurance, short-term disability, and parental leave.
