[Remote] Strategy Consultant, Crimson Rise
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crimson Education is a New Zealand-based Edutech company focused on transforming students into future leaders through personalized education. As a Strategy Consultant for Crimson Rise, you will guide young students and their parents in developing academic, extracurricular, and personal goals over a multi-year timeline leading up to high school.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Guide students in pre-college academic strategy, including:
ā¢ Course selection
ā¢ Developing healthy study habits
ā¢ Recognizing and building on strengths
ā¢ Finding and maintaining an innate love of learning
ā¢ Guide Students In Pre-college Extracurricular Strategy, Including
ā¢ Pinpointing and owning interests and dislikes
ā¢ Exploring new extracurriculars and hobbies
ā¢ Deepening established extracurriculars and hobbies
ā¢ Brainstorming personal projects
ā¢ Summer activity planning
ā¢ Guide Students In Personal Development, Including
ā¢ Goal-setting
ā¢ Stress management
ā¢ Time management
ā¢ Reflection on priorities, interests, motivators, and strengths
ā¢ Guide Students In Additional Developmental Work, Including
ā¢ Building tailored reading lists
ā¢ Improving vocabulary
ā¢ Exploring majors and careers
ā¢ Taking supplementary online classes
ā¢ Help students become happy, healthy, clear-minded thinkers confident in their inherent value and able to engage passionately with their interests and the world around them
ā¢ Expertly support students through their Crimson Rise journey
ā¢ Meeting with students at least once a month from the start of their program
ā¢ Excellent student feedback, as determined by session feedback and NPS
ā¢ Adherence to established service protocols and timely responses to clients
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree from a top University; advanced degrees will be advantageous
ā¢ Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives
ā¢ Superior planning and organisational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, product management a plus
ā¢ Superior written and oral communication skills
ā¢ Resilience when working independently under pressure
ā¢ Experience in formal education, coaching, tutoring, and admissions consulting preferred
