We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our team! This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours (25-30 hours per week) with a hybrid work model, allowing you to work both onsite and remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating daily financial operations and ensuring the integrity of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Manage Accounts Payable by processing, reviewing, and remitting payments while ensuring effective communication with vendors as required.
Ā Accurately record and monitor credit card transactions.
Ā Review and input payroll bi-monthly, encompassing 401(k) and HSA reporting.
Ā Oversee cash management tasks, including deposits, wire transfers, Positive Pay management, and the preparation of cash reports.
Ā Supervise case settlement accounting and generate financial reporting.
Ā Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.
Ā Prepare and process 1099 forms.
Ā Collaborate with CPA by supplying essential year-end information to assist in tax preparation.
Required Skills
Ā Proficiency in QuickBooks, including inventory management functionality.
Ā Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Ā Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Ā Capacity to work autonomously while maintaining an organized and structured approach.

Qualifications
Ā Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical accounting experience.
Ā 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
