[Remote] Sr. Shopify Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CURiO Brands is seeking a Sr. Shopify Developer to be the primary technical owner of their Shopify Plus ecosystem. This role involves managing project timelines, ensuring security compliance, and optimizing site performance across multiple brands to enhance conversion rates and SEO.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Act as the main point of contact for corporate IT
ā¢ You will manage project timelines, ensure security compliance, and navigate the technical requirements of a multi-brand corporate environment
ā¢ You don't wait for a ticket to fix speed
ā¢ You will proactively audit Core Web Vitals and site performance across all three brands, implementing optimizations that directly improve conversion rates
ā¢ Partner with marketing to lead the technical SEO roadmap
ā¢ You will manage schema markup, site architecture, and indexation strategies to ensure our brands dominate organic search
ā¢ Manage the technical nuances of three distinct brands
ā¢ You will identify opportunities for shared codebases and app efficiencies while maintaining the unique "vibe" and functionality of each storefront
ā¢ Move projects from ideation to deployment
ā¢ You will be responsible for vetting third-party apps, managing API integrations (ERP/CRM), and ensuring a frictionless checkout experience
Skills
ā¢ 5+ years of Shopify Development experience: Deep proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/SCSS
ā¢ Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate business goals into technical requirements. You should be able to show how your technical choices have previously increased ROI or site speed
ā¢ Stakeholder Management: Experience working with (or within) both an eCommerce/DTC and a corporate IT structure. You understand how to communicate technical needs to non-technical partners
ā¢ Portfolio Management: Experience managing multiple Shopify instances or high-volume Plus stores is a major plus
