[Remote] Sr M&A Financial Strategy Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pediatrix Medical Group is one of the nation’s largest providers of prenatal, neonatal and pediatric services. The Sr. M&A Strategy Analyst will oversee the merger and acquisition analyst team, manage M&A due diligence activities, and provide oversight of financial modeling and approvals of M&A targets. Responsibilities • Oversight / analytical role to assist with modeling and financial analysis of impending and on-going transactions as well as other special modeling projects. Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals • Develop operating models that are highly flexible to be able to maneuver through multiple scenarios for the purpose of enabling any necessary and abrupt changes on a real-time basis • Coach, mentor, and develop analysts including i) overseeing new employee on-boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities; ii) empower analysts to take responsibility for their work product, delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed • Participate in due diligence and lead analyst development of the process with focus on key cross functional support needs such as collecting Gigspire data and assessing data needs based on initial document reviews Skills • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field • 3-5 years of financial modeling • Experience with staff development -ability to lead and develop a team of financial analysts • Acquisition due diligence experience and ability to understand complex issues and work to develop solutions • Proven presentation skills (ability to present and communicate work effectively to senior management team) • Demonstrated success influencing and collaborating across many functions and levels • MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred • Healthcare experience preferred Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Life • Disability • Healthcare FSA • Dependent Care FSA • HSAs • 401k plan • Employee Stock Purchase Program Company Overview • Pediatrix Medical Group is a medical practice that employs neonatal, maternal-fetal, and pediatric subspecialists.
