[Remote] Sr Configuration Analyst CST or EST

The Senior Configuration Analyst will configure and develop within the StepWise rating and pricing system, collaborating with business users to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Proactively partner and consult with business resources to design and develop innovative solutions for difficult business problems
ā¢ Cross functional requirements gathering, system consultation, and implementation of system design and configuration
ā¢ Partner directly with the UHC Underwriting and Actuarial Team
ā¢ Support and understand the rating formulas and factors, system workflow, and implement appropriate design and configuration of workflow portals within the StepWise application suite
ā¢ Analyze advantages and limitations of multiple solutions options. Recommend and develop referred option
ā¢ Work with user interface design and/or workflow design automation
ā¢ Develop user interfaces with HTML and CSS
ā¢ Create and maintain SQL Stored Procedures
ā¢ Utilize SQL-based systems to solve business problems
ā¢ Work with multiple project deadlines with minimal supervision
ā¢ Serve as a subject matter expert for others
ā¢ Present material to peers and clients
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or a related degree
ā¢ 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access including complex formulas, calculations, macros, VBA, etc
ā¢ 2+ years of SQL experience
ā¢ Experience in an Actuarial and/or Underwriting role
ā¢ Hands-on professional experience in using Excel or SQL-based systems to solve business problems
ā¢ 2+ years programming (software programming or configuration within the framework of an application)
ā¢ Experience with user interface design and/or workflow design automation
ā¢ StepWise development experience
ā¢ Experience working in the Health Care Industry (commercial and group business lines)
ā¢ Experience working in the Insurance Industry
ā¢ Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) experience
ā¢ XML experience
ā¢ Expertise in rating systems (Software applications and/or Excel tools) - as a consultant, super user, or technical design/implementation subject matter expert
ā¢ Proven proactive in analyzing and recommending system solutions for business processes
