[Remote] Sr Azure Data Engineer- Onsite

They are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions on Azure, enabling advanced analytics and business intelligence for enterprise clients. Responsibilities • Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks for ETL/ELT processes. • Implement data transformation and processing using PySpark within Databricks. • Build and optimize data models in Azure Synapse Analytics for reporting and analytics. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions. • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data processes. • Optimize performance of data pipelines and queries for large-scale datasets. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and storage. • Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices. Skills • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong Azure expertise. • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for big data processing. • Proficiency in PySpark for data transformation and analytics. • Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and modeling. • Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). • Solid understanding of SQL and performance tuning for large datasets. • Familiarity with Azure security and governance best practices. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Experience with Delta Lake, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD for data solutions. • Knowledge of data lake architecture and data governance frameworks. • Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools.
