[Remote] Sr Accountant- Remote

The Senior Accountant will manage complex accounting tasks, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support financial reporting and analysis, while liaising with stakeholders to maintain the integrity of financial information. Responsibilities • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, quarterly roll forwards, and month-end close processes • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for international entities by functional currencies, in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS • Perform variance analysis on actual vs forecasted results and provide clear, insightful commentary to explain key drivers and trends • Familiarity with revenue recognition under ASC 606 • Takes initiative to document and improve accounting processes while ensuring compliance with control procedures • End-to-end accounting and process ownership of assigned general ledger accounts • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance as needed • Respond and coordinate with external and internal audit requests • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and assignments and adjust priorities as needed to shifting business needs • Interface with internal departments to provide accounting support, communicate accounting policies, and coordinate deliverables • Work in a remote setting independently and across various time zones Skills • 2-5 years professional experience (exposure to the software tech industry) • Positive attitude and team-oriented • Attention to detail and working with large data sets • Proven leadership to meet deadlines and ability to understand the 'big picture' • Adaptability to Financial Systems (NetSuite, Floqast, Coupa) • Familiarity with revenue recognition under ASC 606 Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance Company Overview • BeyondTrust is the global identity security leader protecting Paths to Privilege™ with an identity-centric approach.
