Remote Speech Therapy in IL

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings to provide teletherapy services. This full-time contract role supports students within a special education cooperative, focusing on delivering remote speech therapy interventions tailored to individual needs.

Location:
• Based in Shorewood, IL, supporting multiple elementary schools including Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary
• Serving a self-contained Autism program with 33-43 students

Duration:
• Immediate start with a contract through May 2026
• Full-time commitment between 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide teletherapy services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive therapeutic approaches
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those in self-contained Autism programs
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
• Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior school-based experience is essential
• Proficiency in telespeech/teletherapy service delivery
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of students with varying needs in a remote format
