Key Responsibilities
? Design Personalized Learning Plans: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) specifically catered to meet the distinct needs of each student in a supportive virtual environment.
? Deliver Engaging Instruction: Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs, utilizing innovative online tools and evidence-based teaching practices to foster academic and developmental growth.
? Track and Adjust Progress: Regularly monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to IEPs to ensure ongoing success and development.
? Collaborate for Success: Partner with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals through virtual platforms to establish a supportive network that encourages student achievement.
Qualifications
? Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
? Certification: Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Alabama.
? Experience: Previous experience working with children with diverse learning needs, preferably in a virtual teaching environment.
? IEP Expertise: Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and familiarity with special education laws.
? Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and technology to create an interactive and effective learning experience.
