Remote Special Education Teacher Position - Michigan
Contract | Remote | 1099 | Full-Time or Part-Time
VocoVision is partnering with a Michigan school district to fill a fully remote Special Education teaching position for the 20252026 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve students virtually while maintaining the flexibility of independent contract work.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide direct instruction to K12 students with mild to moderate disabilities
ā¢ Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
ā¢ Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
ā¢ Conduct virtual assessments and maintain progress documentation
ā¢ Use interactive teletherapy platforms and tools to enhance engagement
Requirements:
ā¢ Valid Michigan Special Education Certification
ā¢ Experience working with a variety of disabilities (SLD, ASD, ED, etc.)
ā¢ Previous virtual teaching experience is preferred
ā¢ Strong communication and organizational skills
ā¢ Must pass a technical screening
Technical Needs:
ā¢ Reliable high-speed internet
ā¢ Computer with webcam and microphone
ā¢ Ability to work with Zoom and other educational platforms
