[Remote] Solutions Architect, Azure

The Solutions Architect – Azure will lead the technical scoping and implementation of Azure based designs for Managed and Non-Managed Service Clients, ensuring best practices are followed and solutions align with client technology strategies. Responsibilities • Develop comprehensive solution architectures that meet business requirements and align with the client’s technology strategy • Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed • Actively participate in continuing education of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve solution offerings • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and IT teams, to define and deliver effective solutions • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to support the design and delivery of solutions related to Azure requirements • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the architecture and design of solutions • Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies, such as CMMC and NIST frameworks • In collaboration with the NOC and Project team to create and maintain architectural documents, diagrams, and other artifacts that clearly articulate the solution's design and components • Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability to meet the demands of the business • Design security controls and manage documentation for all systems handling CUI, including email, FTP, content management platforms, cloud platforms, project collaboration tools, and more • Participate in pre-sales activities such as qualification meetings and scoping conversations • Create sales proposals and sales presentations to assist with Azure projects and managed services opportunities • Stay updated with the latest revisions of Azure publications Skills • Bachelor's degree in; Business Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field • Professional certification in Azure required (AZ-104) • 5+ years of experience designing or implementing technical requirements for Azure • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Servant Leader – You are hyper focused on engaging employees, fostering their development, and building a positive culture • Solutions Focused – You see opportunities in every business problem and can develop, articulate, and implement solutions • Collaboration – You are a relationship builder across all levels of the organization and across all business units • Instills Trust - You do what you say, and you follow through on commitments, you act with integrity, you are consistent and are perceived as credible • Impact & Influence Thinking – You gain support for ideas, proposals, and solutions, and get others to act, with or without formal authority, to advance initiatives/objectives • Professional certification in Azure preferred (AZ-700, AZ-305, and/or AZ-500) or equivalent experience Benefits • Flexible Time Off (FTO) Policy • Paid holidays during the year • Comprehensive wellness program • Flexible work arrangements • Health, dental, vision, life, and accident/death/disability insurance options • HSA employer contribution • Nine (9) paid holidays annually • Paid Parental Bonding Leave program covering birth, adoption, and foster children • 401(k) with employer contributions • CPA bonus with four (4) paid exam days & four (4) paid study days • Tuition reimbursement • Generous employee referral bonus program • Client referral bonus program • Pet insurance • FORCE – Sikich community volunteer program enabling each team member to use up to four hours of paid time annually to volunteer and make a difference in their local communities Company Overview • Sikich is a Chicago-based investment banking firm offering expert M&A and capital markets advisory services tailored to the middle market.
