[Remote] Software Developer, Business Intelligence

The Software Developer in Business Intelligence will utilize analytical approaches to solve business problems, collaborate with stakeholders, and enhance product development through data-driven insights.ResponsibilitiesUse a variety of analytical and statistical approaches to solve key business problems, working with large and complex datasetsCollaborate with business stakeholders and engineers to analyze key performance drivers and build data structures to improve business operations and reportingConduct and evaluate A/B tests and communicate results to drive product optimization and to empower customer-facing teams to drive adoption of new products/featuresWork with business stakeholders to identify key product metrics and build dashboards for monitoring performanceProactively identify and interpret trends in the data to inform product development efforts, sales efforts and thought leadership in the home decor industryDesign and implement efficient data models and ETL processes for a variety of use cases, such as predicting future trends and customer segmentationLeverage our data to drive insights for individual customers, helping them understand user behavior and preferences for targeted marketing strategiesSkillsDistinctive work experience in data preprocessing, data wrangling, feature engineering, data analysis and developing robust data pipelines, delivering polished customer-ready insightsExceptional attention to detail and focus on qualityExcellent communication to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholdersComfortable engaging with customers and senior executivesTechnical background, demonstrated through a degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or other related technical field, or alternatively through relevant work experienceProficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and at least one scripting language used for analysis (e.g., Python)BenefitsWork from home stipendParental leave programYour birthday (and our company's birthday) is a day off!Company OverviewLeap Tools Inc. is working at the cutting edge of augmented reality (AR) and machine vision technologies.
