[Remote] Service Technician

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hilb Group's client, New England Spas, is dedicated to providing excellent service and products for over 40 years. The Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing high-end home appliances, working autonomously while troubleshooting and resolving issues. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and isolate hot tub/sauna problems and repair (including mechanical, electrical and plumbing) Process invoices and log job details using the computer system in a timely manner Communicate with customers in a professional manner, discuss any added service that may need to be performed Maintain the inventory on your service vehicle ensuring that you have the parts necessary for upcoming service visits Assist in training new employees as requested Become a hot tub/sauna water care expert with a full understanding of the supplies and chemicals necessary to maintain proper water chemistry Attend and contribute to staff meetings Attend manufacturer service training and obtain training certificates Skills High school degree or equivalent is required Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required Computer proficiency required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word Excel and Outlook Tenacity to find and fix problems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions Some mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, auto maintenance & repair, or other technical experience preferred Benefits Flexible schedule Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Vacation, Sick and Holiday time Company provided laptop and vehicle Cell phone allowance Bonus, commission and overtime opportunities Company Overview From employee handbooks to recruiting for key roles to staying up-to-date on compliance requirements, human resources can be time-consuming and complex — but it doesn’t have to be.
