[Remote] Senior Virtual Reality VR Unity Developer / Engineer Volunteer - Science Fiction
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Museum of Science Fiction is currently designing a digital twin of an eventual physical facility and is looking for volunteers to help build it and establish an immediate VR presence for the Museum. The role involves developing a VR experience that will educate and spark interest in STEAM through science fiction.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Candidates must be physically located in United States or European Union
ā¢ 10 years Unity / C# experience with projects, portfolio, and Github examples
ā¢ Strong 3D skills with a deep knowledge of computer graphics (lighting, texturing shading, rigging, FX, etc.)
ā¢ Familiar with agile software development philosophy and practices
ā¢ Experience developing, performance profiling, and optimizing in Unity
ā¢ Experience working with a software development team lead and a project team of designers, project managers and quality analysts
ā¢ Experience working with the creative team to realize a design concept into implementation
ā¢ Experience testing innovative new technologies to gain visitor experience insights to help plan a future physical museum
