[Remote] Senior Vice President of Engineering

NextGen Coding Company is seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead and drive our technical innovation and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee engineering functions and drive innovation in the design and deployment of cutting-edge technologies across various domains. Responsibilities • Oversee all engineering functions, including product development, software engineering, and infrastructure management. • Drive innovation in the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge technologies across diverse domains such as AI, blockchain, and game development. • Develop and implement scalable strategies for technical architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation. • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to define technical requirements and priorities. • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to guide the adoption of tools and frameworks that enhance efficiency and scalability. • Ensure robust system security, reliability, and performance by implementing best practices in software development and infrastructure management. • Establish KPIs for engineering performance and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. • Advocate for continuous learning and professional development within the engineering team. • Partner with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with organizational objectives and market demands. Skills • Proven experience in senior engineering leadership roles, managing diverse teams and driving large-scale projects. • Strong expertise in full-stack web development, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data engineering. • Familiarity with blockchain, AI/ML, computer vision, and game development technologies. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to architect scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results in fast-paced environments. • Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Advanced technical certifications are a plus.
