Remote Senior Tax Accountant
A family-oriented full-service tax, payroll, and accounting firm is seeking a motivated, hardworking, and dedicated Sr. Tax Accountant who enjoys having fun in the workplace to join the team.

Compensation: $60,000- $80,000 DOE
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Tax Accountant oversees a wide variety of duties, including but not limited to, the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, the preparation of financial statements, and working on various tax planning, tax resolution, and advising engagements. The successful candidate will be one of the key components of managing the firm-client relationship for those assigned.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ā Prepare/Review Corporate, Partnership, and Individual tax returns.
Ā Prepare/Review estimated taxes to ensure "No Surprises" arise.
Ā Review and advise clients regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
Ā Ensure client complies with all taxing authority requirements and represents client before taxing authorities as needed.
Ā Organize and maintain tax records and conduct tax studies and special projects. Respond to notices on behalf of clients and facilitate audits of clients' records as they arise.
Ā Analyze/Prepare financial statements based on the work provided in order to ensure the records are prepared in accordance with tax law requirements.
Ā Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Ā Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree.
Ā Minimum Experience: 4 Years.
Ā Preferred Experience: 5+ Years of Small Business Tax Consulting/Preparation with State of Ohio SALT experience.
Ā Must have CPA or EA designation with experience signing returns.
Ā Must have thorough understanding of Accounting and Tax principles and have experience engaging clients in tax planning strategies to reduce tax liabilities.
