Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. • Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to support business requirements. • Develop and optimize ETL processes for data integration and transformation. • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance and data integrity. • Document database structures, processes, and reporting logic. Skills • 15+ years of experience as a SQL Developer / Data Analyst. • Advanced proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, indexing). • Strong experience in data modeling, database design, and normalization. • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS or similar). • Expertise in reporting and visualization tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large, complex datasets. • Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management. • Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or similar) is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Prior experience in State/Federal Government projects. • Exposure to Python/R for advanced analytics. • Knowledge of big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake).
