[Remote] Senior Project Manager (EST Time Zone)(Higher Education/SaaS/ERP)

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex SaaS and cloud implementations, ensuring successful project outcomes through effective leadership and stakeholder coordination. Responsibilities • Lead multiple projects through all phases of the Ellucian Implementation Methodology, from initiation and planning through execution, delivery, and close, ensuring successful outcomes • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, client stakeholders, and peers • Apply project management disciplines—quality, risk, resource, and change management—while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget • Clearly communicate plans, roles, milestones, and constraints to all stakeholders • Anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and lead proactive solutions to keep projects on track • Drive team status meetings, track dependencies, and ensure milestones are met • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders • Provide leadership updates with clear, concise project status summaries • Negotiate trade-offs across time, cost, and scope while maintaining high customer satisfaction • Lead cross-functional teams through challenges, mitigating risks and ensuring alignment • Build team cohesiveness through leadership, mentoring, and motivating team members Skills • Must be in EST Time Zone • Strong experience in leading CRM or ERP SaaS implementation projects • Proven ability to manage financial and resource forecasts, ensuring project plans remain accurate throughout the lifecycle • Track record of driving customer satisfaction and accurate revenue recognition through timely reviews of time sheets, expense reports, and billing documents • Experience leading projects in a matrix-management environment • Ability to partner with the Customer Relations team, providing expertise during the sales cycle and demonstrating the value of project management services • Experience mentoring and guiding less-experienced Project Managers • Certifications in cloud and project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, etc.) • Higher education industry experience preferred, but NOT required • Familiarity with higher education processes is a plus but NOT required Benefits • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision • Flexible time off • Thrive Flex Lifestyle Account (LSA) that allows you to contribute towards your health, financial or learning interests • 401k w/ match & BrightPlan - to help you save for the future • Parental Leave • 5 charitable days to support the community that supports us • Telemedicine • Wellness • Headspace Care (mental health) • Wellbeats (virtual fitness classes) • RethinkCare & Wellthy- caregiver support • Diversity and inclusion programs which provide access to internal employee resource groups • Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team • We Foster a learning culture with: • Education Assistance Program • Professional development opportunities Company Overview • Ellucian delivers the software, services, and insights that help your institution thrive.
