[Remote] Senior .NET Application Architect (IAM / Entra ID)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable application solutions aligned with enterprise standards and project goals.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Understand project requirements and goals to produce high-quality technical deliverables
ā¢ Work closely with Business Analysts to create and update:
ā¢ Project documentation
ā¢ Technical documentation
ā¢ Training materials
ā¢ Actively participate in meetings and project activities to support deliverable completion
ā¢ Communicate accomplishments and upcoming plans to support weekly status reporting
ā¢ Communicate project progress and technical information to key stakeholders
ā¢ Assist in preparing materials for:
ā¢ Program leadership
ā¢ Executive steering committees
ā¢ Project Manager
ā¢ Ensure compliance with established technical standards and architectural direction
ā¢ Support strategic and tactical project objectives through effective solution development
ā¢ Assist internal and external resources in achieving project goals
ā¢ Identify and resolve technical or operational obstacles; support contingency planning
ā¢ Participate in conference calls with state and federal stakeholders as required
ā¢ Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions applicable to the program
Skills
ā¢ Minimum 7 years of experience developing web applications
ā¢ Minimum 7 years of experience producing technical documentation including: Requirements, Specifications, Traceability matrices, Designs, Testing documentation
ā¢ Minimum 7 years of experience testing: Custom applications, Reports, Large datasets, Dashboards
ā¢ Minimum 7 years of experience developing applications using .NET architecture
ā¢ Minimum 7 years of experience with C# programming
ā¢ Minimum 3 years of experience working with MVC architecture
ā¢ Expertise in designing and implementing secure authentication and authorization solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, including B2C and B2B configurations
ā¢ Strong experience planning, configuring, and integrating Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML
ā¢ Proven ability to integrate enterprise and customer-facing applications with Microsoft Entra for seamless identity federation
ā¢ Strong background in solution architecture for scalable, secure, and compliant identity-driven systems in hybrid and cloud environments
ā¢ Deep understanding of security best practices, including: Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Zero Trust security principles
ā¢ Experience developing custom policies, user flows, and branding for Microsoft Entra B2C
ā¢ Ability to integrate identity solutions with: Azure services, Microsoft 365, Third-party SaaS applications
ā¢ Proficiency with: Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint
ā¢ Ability to work collaboratively with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers
ā¢ Demonstrated experience with large-scale implementation projects
ā¢ Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups having diverse and competing needs
ā¢ Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
ā¢ Minimum 4 years of experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL
ā¢ Minimum 2 years of experience with HTML5
ā¢ Prior experience working in State Government, especially within Education or Early Learning
