[Remote] Senior GIS Consultant - Client-Facing w/ Travel (Job ID 002665)

Innovien Solutions is seeking a Senior GIS Consultant to lead modernization efforts for their nationwide utilities program supporting major energy and infrastructure organizations across the U.S. This role involves advising clients on end-to-end solutions using Esri’s Utility Network model and optimizing enterprise GIS environments for utility clients in the electric, gas, and water sectors. Responsibilities • Lead large-scale utility GIS consulting programs for current and future clients • Facilitate workshops and presentations to capture technical and business requirements • Oversee project deliverables including requirements documentation, use cases, strategy, and roadmap creation • Translate business objectives into detailed technical requirements that drive implementation • Support business development through proposal preparation, estimating, and client presentations • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success and identify new engagement opportunities • Contribute to thought leadership activities such as blogs, conferences, and speaking engagements Skills • 3-5 years of experience working with Esri's Utility Network Framework • 7+ years of professional technology consulting experience within the utilities space (electric, gas, and/or water) • Experience working with external clients and advising external clients on Esri products (Must have Esri UN) • Hands-on expertise with the Esri product suite, including configuring, deploying, and managing Esri’s Utility Network model • Data model design and management • Designing and deploying ArcGIS applications through ArcGIS Online or Portal • Strong understanding of how real-world utility systems (power, gas, or water) function and how GIS mapping supports business operations • Familiarity with utility business processes including compliance, regulatory requirements, and field workflows • Esri certifications (GISP, Esri Technical Certifications, or equivalent) • Experience leading client workshops, defining business requirements, and developing GIS modernization strategies • Knowledge of industry standards and integration between GIS and operational systems (OMS, ADMS, CIS, etc.) • Experience supporting proposal development or pre-sales activities in a consulting environment Company Overview • Innovien Solutions is committed to identifying the insights and ideas that will shape the future of business.
