[Remote] Senior Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Event Source, AWS)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Life Line Screening is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and evolve modern, cloud-native applications. The role involves owning features end-to-end, designing user experiences, and building backend services while collaborating closely with product and design teams.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Own and deliver end-to-end product features from design through production support
ā¢ Build high-quality, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React and TypeScript
ā¢ Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and GraphQL
ā¢ Develop and operate cloud-native and serverless workloads on AWS, including AWS Lambda
ā¢ Contribute to service-oriented and event-driven architectures that scale reliably over time
ā¢ Write clean, maintainable code and participate in thoughtful code reviews to raise engineering standards
ā¢ Create and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure system reliability
ā¢ Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes that enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments
ā¢ Instrument services with logging, metrics, and tracing; help diagnose and resolve production issues
ā¢ Apply secure coding practices and protect sensitive data as part of everyday development
ā¢ Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers in an Agile environment
ā¢ Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve productivity while maintaining quality
Skills
ā¢ 4-5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web applications
ā¢ Strong experience with React and modern frontend development practices
ā¢ Strong backend experience with Node.js and event based service design
ā¢ Hands-on experience deploying and operating services in AWS environments
ā¢ Familiarity with event sourced and event-driven system design
ā¢ Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
ā¢ Proficiency with Git-based workflows and collaborative development
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across the full stack
ā¢ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
ā¢ TypeScript-first development experience across frontend and backend
ā¢ Experience with GraphQL and contract-first API development
ā¢ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation)
ā¢ Experience with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting)
ā¢ Database experience with SQL and/or NoSQL systems
ā¢ Experience building software in regulated or security-sensitive environments
