[Remote] Senior Ecommerce Paid Search Manager (Shopping & Shopify Focused)

National Positions is an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Westlake Village, CA, actively seeking a Senior Ecommerce Paid Search Manager with expertise in Shopify and paid media strategy. The role involves scaling ecommerce brands through Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, focusing on profitability and client growth.

Responsibilities
• Scale and grow Shopify-based ecommerce accounts
• Optimize for ROAS, MER, AOV, revenue, and profitability — not just CPA
• Oversee Google Shopping & Performance Max campaigns
• Manage product feeds in Merchant Center (rules, supplemental feeds, diagnostics, approvals)
• Improve feed structure and product data for better performance
• Implement and QA conversion tracking (GA4, Google Ads, enhanced conversions)
• Collaborate with development teams on Shopify integrations
• Analyze SKU-level performance and product segmentation
• Develop testing frameworks for creative, copy, structure, and bidding
• Present strategic performance insights to clients
• Analyze SKU-level and category-level performance
• Optimize product titles, descriptions, and attributes for feed performance
• Identify scaling opportunities through budget reallocation and bid strategies
• Monitor feed health and resolve Merchant Center issues proactively
• Run structured tests and report on learnings
• Understand how paid search fits into omnichannel ecommerce (email, SEO, paid social)

Skills
• 5+ years managing ecommerce paid search accounts
• Advanced experience with Shopify (analytics, tracking, merchant center feeds, apps)
• Strong understanding of Google Merchant Center (feed rules, product diagnostics, disapprovals)
• Performance Max for ecommerce
• Shopping campaign segmentation
• Attribution models & tracking accuracy
• Experience optimizing ROAS
• Experience optimizing Blended MER
• Experience optimizing AOV
• Experience optimizing Contribution margin
• Experience optimizing Product-level profitability
• Experience integrating Shopify with Merchant Center via APIs or feed tools
• Familiarity with server-side tracking or advanced ecommerce tracking setups
