[Remote] Senior Director of Sales - Costco

This high-impact leadership role is responsible for driving revenue, distribution, and profitable growth while managing strategic relationships with Costco's buying teams and ensuring data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and execute a comprehensive Costco channel strategy in partnership with the SVP, Sales ā focused on revenue growth, margin expansion, and sustainable profitability
ā¢ Drive distribution expansion and velocity performance (VPO) by identifying new item rotation, and innovation opportunities informed by market trends, sales analytics, and shopper insights
ā¢ Contribute to the sales forecasting and S&OP process to deliver accurate forward-looking visibility, strengthen inventory planning, and improve forecast accuracy across regions and items
ā¢ Own and manage Costco trade accruals in partnership with Finance, ensuring disciplined investment strategies, strong ROI, and alignment with profitability targets
ā¢ Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship leader with Costco Assistant Buyers and ICS partners, ensuring ongoing alignment on rotations, promotional planning, and demand expectations
ā¢ Represent Pressed at key Costco events and strategic meetings to reinforce brand presence, deepen executive-level relationships, and unlock growth opportunities
ā¢ Monitor account performance trends and proactively identify opportunities and risks related to revenue, EBITDA contribution, distribution, and velocity ā escalating insights and recommended actions to the SVP, Sales
ā¢ Establish a culture of performance accountability ā setting clear goals, measuring outcomes, and ensuring decisions are grounded in data, financial impact, and customer partnership needs
Skills
ā¢ Minimum of 15 years' sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry ā with at least 10 directly working with Costco regions across the United States
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
ā¢ Proven track record of successfully partnering with Costco and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced and competitive environment
ā¢ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
ā¢ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
ā¢ Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
ā¢ Analytical mindset with the proficiency in sales data analysis and forecasting
ā¢ Flexibility to travel as needed (approximately 25%)
ā¢ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
