[Remote] Senior Data Analyst - Google Analytics / DataDog RUM (remote)

The Senior Data Analyst will serve as an experienced individual contributor, responsible for supporting data analytics processes and practices while collaborating with program teams and mentoring junior members.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Extensive knowledge and experience with data visualization and reporting; with the ability to communicate best practices; understands and communicates UX implications associated with data visualization
ā¢ Effective communicator with the ability to explain trends across data sources using statistical performance metrics to inform customer goals and outcomes
ā¢ Leads efforts to analyze, manipulate, clean, and/or process large data sets using statistical software languages
ā¢ Manages team working sessions, following and improving processes and workflows for maintaining high quality data and reporting
ā¢ Delivers data analytics methodologies/improvements with minimal practice guidance and support
ā¢ Collaborates with program teams on larger projects and mentors more junior team members
ā¢ Leads the development of innovative solutions for most complex program problems, spots inconsistencies and edge cases
ā¢ Effectively communicates data analytics issues and develops solutions with team members and external stakeholders
ā¢ Able to interact at a technical level with closely adjacent data practices such as statistical modeling and data pipelines
ā¢ Proactively identifies and leads investigations, working with stakeholders and team on scope and plan
ā¢ Participates in technical interviews with new candidates and develops/grades homework
ā¢ May lead small, less critical, or temporary team structures and projects
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in a data role or equivalent
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to capture metrics generated from a range of data sources, triangulate across data types (qualitative and quantitative), and synthesize meaning to provide an overall picture of usage, satisfaction, and behaviors
ā¢ Demonstrates expert-level knowledge in SQL query skillsets, deep knowledge of Google Analytics and/or DataDog RUM (or ability to learn quickly)
ā¢ Demonstrated dashboarding and reporting capabilities, including data visualization
ā¢ Experience working in agile software development on a cross-functional team
ā¢ Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and environments to support delivery
ā¢ Ability to identify risks and communicate to leadership, providing recommendations to mitigate identified risks
ā¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills to both the technical and non-technical audiences, as well as stakeholder engagement
ā¢ Self-directed, proactive
ā¢ Comfortable collaborating across a complex team structure and stakeholder environment
ā¢ Prior government contracting experience
