[Remote] Senior Cybersecurity Risk Assessor

Responsibilities • Conduct structured security risk assessments following NIST 800-30 & ISO/IEC 27005 principles • Identify and walk through threats, attack paths, and security weaknesses • Create defensible risk analyses using internal and external threat and loss data • Communicate findings and risk treatment options to risk owners, supporting informed decisions • Perform ad-hoc risk assessments for new processes, technologies, and configurations • Follow established SOPs for risk assessment procedures and documentation • Participate in Rapid Risk Triage projects and Cloud Risk Assessment processes • Onboard and help develop workflows and dashboards for security risk management tools • Align security assessment practices with evolving company-specific processes • Support vendor and cloud security management Skills • 7+ years of professional experience performing security risk assessments • Experience in NIST 800-30 and ISO 27005 frameworks • Ability to identify threats, attack paths, and security weaknesses in systems and processes • Experience performing ad-hoc risk evaluations • Strong experience in cloud security • Ability to clearly communicate risk findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to collaborate across teams, including IT, security, and business units • Big 4 consulting experience • Hands-on experience with FAIR risk methodology Company Overview • Insight Global provides top talent and staffing solutions that help job seekers find careers in healthcare, finance, IT, and government.
