Remote Senior Aws Devops Engineer
Our client is a growing SaaS company who are growing their engineering teams to develop a suite of new AI powered products. They are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to join their team.You're more than a DevOps engineer—you're a builder, problem-solver, and continuous learner who enjoys shipping meaningful products. Own and evolve both low- and high-level infrastructure using a fully GitOps-driven, Kubernetes-native approach. Our stack includes Flux2, Crossplane, and a mix of first- and third-party Kubernetes operators. ~ Kubernetes OperationsOperate and scale microservices architectures on Kubernetes, and support product teams with application deployments and best practices. ~ Provision, upgrade, and maintain Kubernetes clusters using kOps and Cluster API. ~ AWS Cloud InfrastructureManage cloud resources on AWS with Crossplane and Terraform. ~ Design, build, and maintain fast, reliable CI pipelines using GitHub Actions to support frequent and safe releases. ~ Implement and refine monitoring, tracing, and profiling to ensure application health and performance. Our tooling includes Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Pyroscope. ~ Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and drive system recovery and long-term improvements. ~ Strong Kubernetes ExpertiseAt least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes. Kafka Experience (Nice to Have)Familiarity with Kafka in a microservices environment is a plus.
