[Remote] Senior AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large virtual desktop environment. The role involves troubleshooting performance issues and requires expertise in system design, integration, and process automation. Responsibilities • In addition to architecting and designing, the VDI Engineer will provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues. • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies. • Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks. • Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies. • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders. • Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. • Conducts trade studies and makes recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions. Skills • Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) • Master's degree and 10 years of experience OR Total 19 years of experience • Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops • Experience managing and administering Windows Servers • Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix • Experience in VDI profile management • Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs • AVD integration with Office 365 services • Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services • Collaborate and work well in a team environment • Experience (1+ years’) with any or all of these products or technologies: MS SQL, Puppet, Chef, Qualys, SCCM, Intune, MDM solutions • Experience (1+ years’) setup and integration with IIS, SQL Server • Experience (2+ years’) with Azure Security Tools (e.g. Sentinel) Benefits • Healthcare • Wellness • Financial • Retirement • Family support • Continuing education • Time off benefits Company Overview • At CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI), our 25,000 talented and dynamic employees are ever vigilant in delivering distinctive expertise and technology to meet our customers’ greatest challenges in national security.
