[Remote] Security Solutions Senior Consultant - Governance, Risk, and Cyber Strategy

As a Senior Consultant, you will specialize in cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), leading complex client engagements to enhance cybersecurity resilience and advising clients on regulatory readiness. Responsibilities • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices. • Lead client engagements assessing and strengthening cybersecurity and IT risk programs aligned to NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, SOC 2, and sectoral regulations (e.g., FFIEC, DORA, HIPAA). • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, manage expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. • Develop and present comprehensive risk assessments, strategies, and recommendations to executives and boards, translating complex technical concepts into business-level insights. • Conduct maturity and gap assessments, benchmark against peers, and define target-state models with actionable roadmaps. • Design and implement governance frameworks, control libraries, and risk taxonomies tailored to client operating models. • Develop and enhance cybersecurity and compliance policies, standards, and program charters. • Advise clients on regulatory readiness, audit responses, and remediation planning. • Use data visualization and analytics to identify control gaps, quantify risk, and communicate findings effectively. • Support implementation of risk mitigation solutions to achieve defined business outcomes. • Mentor junior consultants and collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact client results. • Maintain working knowledge of AI risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001).
