[Remote] Security Consultant – Identity & Access Management

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a Security Consultant to support identity and access management and security automation initiatives for the State of South Carolina. This role focuses on implementing, integrating, and operationalizing security technologies while designing secure enterprise solutions aligned with business and risk requirements. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and support Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions including SSO, MFA, Active Directory, and application access • Develop and maintain security automation and integrations using scripting tools • Plan and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with security architecture standards • Design and deploy security controls to mitigate existing and emerging threats • Ensure consistent application of security controls across enterprise systems and infrastructure Skills • 5+ years of experience in IAM, access control, logging, and reporting • Strong experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash) • Experience supporting Linux and Windows environments and network security protocols • Background in large-scale IT environments and cybersecurity operations • Bachelor's degree in IT or Information Security (or equivalent experience) • SIEM analysis and reporting • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, CMS MARS-E) • Application security (AppSec) experience • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISO, CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or similar Company Overview • Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC (VITS) has been founded on the principle of partnering with our clients - to provide a smarter way of working.
