[Remote] Seasoned Non-QM Underwriter

The role involves underwriting Non-QM and non-conforming jumbo loans while ensuring compliance with guidelines, managing a pipeline, and communicating with processing and sales teams. Responsibilities • Underwrite Non-QM and non-conforming jumbo loans, ensuring loans are compliant with company and investor guidelines • Manage individual pipeline daily by completing new underwriting reviews, condition reviews and other underwriting tasks within established turn times • Review and analyze borrower profiles, credit reports, title reports, income documentation and assets, appraisals, and complex business returns and financials • Communicate with processing and sales to provide updates, clarification on outstanding conditions and deficiencies identified on loans, and to assist in interpreting underwriting guidelines • Conduct an appraisal analysis to determine acceptable collateral standards are met Skills • Minimum 7 years overall underwriting experience/3-4 years minimum Non-QM experience • Ability to underwrite Non-QM and Non-Agency loan products, including but not limited to Bank Statement Income Analysis, Asset Depletion, DSCR No Ratio, Foreign National and Self-Employment • Ability to review & calculate complex personal and/or business financials and tax profiles • Perform mortgage credit analysis with or without the assistance of an automated underwriting system and ensure lending decisions follow company guidelines and policies • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as bolthires Office software products and Encompass • Exceptional organization skills and ability to multi-task and handle several priorities at once • Excellent analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints • Good communication skills, both verbal and written Company Overview • Logan Finance Corporation provides flexible loan options at competitive rates in addition to home purchase and home refinancing.It was founded in 1949, and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
