[Remote] Seasonal Remote Credentialed Tax Expert (EA or CPA required)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. In this role, you will assist customers with their taxes and provide valuable tax advice while utilizing advanced communication tools. Responsibilities • Help our customers complete their taxes using company products • Providing tax advice • Full service return preparation • Tax calculations • Managing product/software inquiries • Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language • Use our state of the art video communication software to interact with customers • Document interactions to maintain accurate records Skills • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. • Possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). • Passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation and committed to enhancing the brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes. • Possess excellent customer service skills and excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. • Must have (or be willing to obtain) an internet connection that meets Security criteria. • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
