Remote Scrum Master - Veterinary Services Industry
We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in the veterinary services industry. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching team members, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will work within an Azure DevOps environment and support projects relating to mobile app development and Data Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Collaborate with Product Owners, Development Teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities
Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Remove impediments and barriers to team productivity, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
Track and communicate team progress, including sprint velocity, burndown charts, and release forecasts
Promote a collaborative and transparent work environment, encouraging open communication and feedback
Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
Champion Agile best practices and serve as a change agent within the organization
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master in software development and/or data engineering environment
Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum
Experience working with Azure DevOps and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Passion for continuous learning and improvement
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Coach, or similar Agile certification preferred
