They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to conduct outbound prospecting, qualify leads, and help drive pipeline growth in the public safety and SaaS industries. Responsibilities Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in our solutions Identify and qualify potential customers based on defined criteria, ensuring they are a good fit for our product Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives to help move prospects further down the sales funnel Accurately log and track all activities, conversations, and opportunities in Hubspot (or other CRM tools) Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, develop campaigns, and optimize lead conversion Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best sales practices to improve outreach effectiveness Skills 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive and engaging approach Ability to handle objections and rejection and to continuously improve through feedback Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), sales automation tools, and sales engagement tools Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Demonstrated enthusiasm for sales, lead generation, and relationship-building Strong organizational and time management skills A results-driven approach with a passion for exceeding goals Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Benefits Competitive salary and 401k with employer match Discretionary paid time off Paid parental leave for all Medical, Dental, Vision plans Fitness Programs Emotional & Mental Wellness support Learning & Development programs And yes, we have snacks in our offices Company Overview Axon provides electronic control devices to law enforcement and corrections agencies.
