Remote Sales Consultant – Pool Equipment (Former Field Techs Wanted)

The Inside Sales Representative – Repair Services (ISR-RS) sells repair services to new and existing customers. They efficiently work repair and product sales leads received from inbound calls, texts, and repair alert channels with exceptional customer service and sales acumen. They are responsible for ensuring a smooth sales process and demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism during inquiries and follow-ups with potential repair customers.

Essential Functions:

• Answers inbound calls, texts, emails and/or alerts with speed, diagnosing issues and providing products and/or repair services offerings to customers with a focus on sales conversions
• Grows revenue by selling products, repairs, installations or diagnostics with a focus on complete pool protection
• Sets daily lead appointments for repair team (if quoted repair requires onsite visit)
• Provides quotes via phone and follows up on open quotes, using applications such as Quotient, Podium, Pool Brain, etc.
• Calls on and works lead opportunities that arise from reported issues from field and/or general knowledge of potential replacement, repair, or diagnostic work needed.
• Utilizes internal systems to communicate with peers, management, etc.
• Ensures smooth hand-off of customers to proper departments for billing, scheduling, parts, etc.
• Establishes a consistent sales pipeline and follows up on any non-converted sales opportunities within 24 hours
• Achieves agreed upon sales targets and key performance metrics consistently
• Continuously improves sales techniques and processes through training, feedback, and coaching
• Provides timely and accurate reporting to management, with a focus on lead to close ratio

Education, Licensure and Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of experience in inside or outside sales, or similar
• 3+ years of pool equipment/repair knowledge, preferred
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong sales closing and overcoming objections skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and provide creative solutions that meet those needs
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, follow up and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals

General Environment: Noise level in environment is generally quiet.

Physical Requirements: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all necessary equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 40 pounds.
