The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean code, and contributing to architectural decisions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails framework
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable features and enhancements
ā¢ Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
ā¢ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
ā¢ Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning
ā¢ Communicate project progress and challenges clearly with team members and stakeholders
Skills
ā¢ Experience developing with Ruby on Rails
ā¢ Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration
ā¢ Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
ā¢ Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to deadlines in a remote setting
ā¢ Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
ā¢ Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
ā¢ Experience working in an Agile development environment
ā¢ Familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps practices
ā¢ Previous experience collaborating with distributed teams
