Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Ruby on Rails applications and APIs.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong focus on performance.

Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and project managers to translate user needs into technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews and mentoring sessions with fellow developers to uphold quality standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as needed.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Integrate third-party services and APIs as required by the project.

Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development and Ruby ecosystem.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *
Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• *
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• *
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js (optional but preferred).
• *
Proficiency in Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• *
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint-based development cycles.
• *
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• *
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

2–5 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development.

Experience working in a fully remote team environment is a plus.

Previous experience contributing to open-source projects or large-scale applications will be highly regarded.
