[Remote] Risk and Payments Analyst

Rush Street Interactive is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, seeking a Risk & Payments Analyst to assist with risk monitoring and payment functions. This role involves withdrawal processing, fraud investigations, and customer interactions related to payments and KYC documents.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for timely withdrawal processing and document reviewInvestigate and respond to escalated payments/fraud related customer contactsAnalyze player activity to prevent, identify, and report potential fraud or AML concernsAssist customer service with payments related inquiriesAssist with chargeback disputes and fraud investigations as neededReview and accept/reject KYC documents uploaded by patronsUpdate patron information and manually complete the KYC processLog changes to player accounts as required in each jurisdictionAssist with intake of other documents as neededFollow Standard Operating Procedures on all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements and business policies and proceduresStay abreast of policy and regulatory changes to maintain subject matter expertiseRemain cognizant of relevant quality assurance policies and proceduresAssist other Risk and Payment Analyst from a quality assurance perspective with all tasks and duties required for the roleEscalate all necessary issues to management in a timely fashionProvide feedback to product team and management team about player issuesAll other duties as assignedSkillsKnowledge of iGaming, sports wagering, payment processing, and various payment methods/providersExperience with gambling industry and industry terminology, promotions, and gameplayFamiliarity with data analysis and fraud detectionEffective communication and presentation skillsPrior experience in financial services, compliance, or operations roleDetail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite including ExcelStrong time management skills and able to prioritize multiple requestsAble to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to obtain and maintain gaming certifications or licenses as requiredBenefitsDiscretionary annual company bonus (Eligibility Varies by Role)401(k) plan with 100% company match on the first 4%Comprehensive medical coverage (HSA & FSA plans), dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (Eligibility Varies by Role)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Company OverviewRush Street Interactive offers online casino and sports betting in the U.S. It was founded in 2012, and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
