Remote HCC Coder Compensation
Ā The pay for this position is 28/ per hour
Ā Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
Ā A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Remote HCC Coder Highlights
Ā This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Ā The required availability for this position is M-F 8A-5P
Remote HCC Coder Responsibilities
-Abstracts relevant clinical and demographic information from the medical record to assign current ICD-10 and CPT codes in accordance with coding and reimbursement guidelines.
-Identifies eligible HCCs (Hierarchal Condition Coding) when appropriate in relation to provided guidelines, with minimal error, based on provider documentation
-Follows coding processes and procedures along with updating them as directed by manager.
- Performs the minimum number of validations consistent with established departmental goals of 40-70 charts daily
- Provides clear communication, with the ability to Identify and report quality concerns and errors

Ā High School Diploma or GED
Ā Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
