[Remote] Right of Way Technician - Remote, US
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bowman Consulting is seeking a Right of Way Technician to join their team remotely. This role involves providing reporting, document preparation, and administrative support services to the Right of Way project team, while ensuring effective communication and organization within the team.ResponsibilitiesPerform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processesReceive direction on all aspects of assignments, specific tasks and how to executeWork is thoroughly reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principlesAssist Right of Way Agents and Project Managers in preparing documents (i.e., Easements, Letters, Proposals, Work Orders, Change Orders, Sub Consultant Agreements, Transmittals) and processing same in workflow systemInitial entry and daily update of project and parcel information in database and project tracking reportsResearch property records and download deeds, easements, judgments, liens, assessment cards, plats, and maps from online county resourcesUse online resources to determine status of corporations and officer's/agents, as well as researching contact information for parcel ownersUtilize mail merge to generate mass mailing documents and correspondencePrint documents and prepare packages for mailingMaintain electronic and paper data filing systems; upload and file necessary recordsCompose and edit correspondence in Word and create and maintain spreadsheets in ExcelAdminister incoming phone calls and ensure calls are redirected accordinglyReceive, sort, and forward incoming mailPrepare outgoing mail and correspondence, coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (UPS, courier service, etc.)Maintain conference room areas; control inventory of supplies for right-of-way teamPerform administrative duties such as coding documents, copying, binding, collating, scanning, filing, data entry, etcSkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent GED requiredEntry level position, no prior experience requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteSatisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's licenseAbility to obtain Notary Public certification (company paid)Professional real estate license in applicable state or the ability to obtain one within 3 months (90 days) of hire is requiredAny administrative, title research/review experience a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off, sick leave, and paid holidaysTuition reimbursement and professional development supportDiscretionary bonuses and other performance-based incentivesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), wellness initiatives, and employee discountsCompany OverviewBowman Consulting is a civil engineering company that provides engineering consulting services nationwide.
